Pastor Hamilton under the leadership of Pastor Howard Collier. After serving faithfully in numerous positions of the church in 1995 he accepted his call to the ministry.
In September 2004, Pastor Hamilton was passed the mantle of Transformed Life Church which was formerly known as the Church of Jesus. Under the present leadership of Pastor Hamilton Transformed Life Church in spite of having to endure some serious challenges continues to march forward and expand its vision of translating God’s word into God’s work.
In just over seven years the energy and commitment of Pastor Hamilton and the TLC leadership team is evident. Under his leadership, the church has continued to grow to have members in 5 counties and has stabilized its financial position helping the church become a healthy and viable part of the community.
Recognizing that true ministry can’t happen only within the walls of the Church it was
understood that there was a need to move beyond the borders of 421 Wood Street. In 2006 Pastor Hamilton founded Wood Street Community Center and revitalized Wood Street Community Development Corporation as its own 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
With the creation of the Wood Street Community Center to reach out and address the emergent needs of young people in our community, TLC will soon be known by the entire Miami Valley community and will serve as a model for faith communities around the nation.
In addition to revitalizing its witness, TLC has opened its doors to many community and nonprofit organizations (e.g. YMCA, Well Child Clinic). In 2010 TLC started another service in Sidney, Ohio.
Pastor Hamilton has not only served in His local ministry but has worked and served as Vice-President for the International Pentecostal Young People’s Union of the Pentecostal Assemblies of World, President of the Ohio District Council Young People’s Union; and President of the Southwestern Regional Young People’s Union of the Ohio District Council of Pentecostal Churches (ODC). He is currently serving as the Treasurer for the Ohio District Council of Pentecostal Churches. Pastor Hamilton is very active in the community serving on serveral boards, the past-president of the Piqua Association of Churches and is a volunteer chaplain with the Piqua Police Department.
Pastor Hamilton has a daughter Alahna Grace Hamilton.
