Sermon Title: Trap of Comparison

Proverb 31: 1-31 (The sayings of King Lemuel – an inspired utterance his mother taught him.)

• Verses 10-31 are the characteristics of a “Wife of Noble Character.”
• The woman described here has never walked my walk.

Psalm 8 – A psalm of David. He explains how majestic our Lord is and that man was made a little lower than angels and was crowned with glory and honor. The Lord loves us the way we are. We should return to where we laid down our stuff (dreams) and take it back. Do not let the Devil have it. We know who we are in God.

2 Samuel 13:18

In the Bible, Tamar, who was assaulted by her half-brother, took off her coat of many colors and tore it into pieces. Do not allow anything to make you remove your coat of many colors. Do not compare yourself to anyone else. We are all beautiful in the eyes of God. Jesus dies on the cross so our sins would be forgiven.
